About the Event
Registration closes on Friday, August 21st. Please register before then!
In THIS moment we are experiencing: uprisings for justice like we haven’t seen in more than 50 years, a global pandemic we haven’t experienced in more than 100 years, and an election year that brings with it so many questions for the future of humanity. As mixed people, where do we stand in all of this? We want to make time to ground into and share the questions and emotions that are coming up for us as mixed/TRA folks.
In our time together we will build towards having more awareness of how we are holding ourselves and others at this moment in history, and work to feel more grounded in our bodies and our language, sharing & interacting with best practices.
Facilitators will lead this discussion open to mixed race people and transracial/transnational adoptees of color. We also acknowledge that some people with mixed race heritage specifically may not use the term mixed race/multiracial/biracial or similar language, & this workshop is for you too! ✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽✊🏼✊🏻
