About the Event
Description:
With the recent election, racial climate, pandemic, and other world events, it is essential that we have intentional spaces to connect in to process, grieve, and make meaning of our unique experiences in the world as Black Adoptees. We will be checking in with ourselves and each other, grounding into our bodies & moving in and out of small group breakout sessions. Diona's intention today is to actively listen and provide validation, compassion, and reflection in a space she hopes to contribute to making safe. Nathan Zeckmeister, organizer & facilitator with MWM since 2017, will be supporting our guest facilitator.
